here is the first IELASITUNED 2025 Engine we’ve decided to officially present. It’s the new .21 OnRoad Engine, IELASITUNED PISTA!

This Engine is the result of long, hard, and painstaking work that began over a year ago with our entire team, and with great satisfaction we managed to take it to victory on its debut, securing P1 and P2 in qualifying, and P1 and P2 again in the final with our drivers Simon Kurzbuch and Toni Gruber at the second ENS round in Aigen, Austria. There’s a lot to say about how we got to this point, but maybe we’ll talk about it again one day in a live broadcast on our Facebook/YouTube channel, so let’s now describe the engine’s technical aspects.

Starting with the name, we decided to discontinue the “GP9” series that existed since the beginning of this collaboration with O.S. Engines to send a strong signal of a new beginning-in short, a new chapter, as I like to call it. The Engine is produced (I want to emphasize this) ENTIRELY by O.S. Engines but now 90% from our designs and directives, only the crankcase and the carburetor body are in common with O.S. everything else about the engine is exclusive to IELASITUNED.

PISTA .21 on-roAD ENGINE / TEAM EDITION

CARBURETOR
– The top needle/holder is entirely produced by us in-house, no longer by O.S. as we have decided to go our own way, focusing heavily on ease and precision in engine carburetion.
– New bottom needle produced by O.S. which greatly optimizes acceleration at low revs.
 
UNDERHEAD
– New exclusive IELASITUNED underhead by O.S.
 
CRANKSHAFT
– New IELASITUNED timing optimized for the new engine by O.S.
 
PISTON/CYLINDER
– New 2025 version piston and new 2025 cylinder by O.S. but compared to the past, the super-finishing process for both is carried out in-house using a new technique that has improved ease of break-in, almost minimizing the problem of scratch while maintaining a coupling and compression hardness that lasts over time like we have never had until now.
 
In addition to all this, the new PISTA engine will also have these parts as options (you can see in the picture) to optimize performance and reliability:
